		<description>@HR Wench - I&#039;ve worked in places like that and they are no fun at all.  I can appreciate being strategic about when you take time off, but building a culture that is anti-vacation is cruel.

Long term burn out and stress is a nightmare from a health perspective and has been linked to cancer and other nasty side effects.</description>

I have worked in some companies where employees were actually praised for having accumulated as much vacation time (and not using it) as possible.  Totally insane.</description>
